An açaí bowl food truck for Beautiful Life Bowls in Fort Collins, Colorado, built into a Ford Transit cutaway box truck the owners already had. They supplied the vehicle and the equipment; we built the systems.
A 100 amp electrical service, thirty gallon fresh and forty gallon waste tanks, an eight gallon water heater and pump, plumbing to the hand sink and the three compartment sink, a concession service window with a five foot outdoor shelf, a generator box, a six foot stainless table behind the window and the decals. No hood and no suppression, because nothing on an açaí menu is cooked, which is a large part of why a cold menu is a cheaper build than a hot one.
Larimer County licenses the unit after plan review, the City of Fort Collins adds a sales tax licence and an Outdoor Vendor License, and Poudre Fire Authority inspects it annually. Treat a build like this as three separate purchases, vehicle, systems and equipment: own the first, buy the third, and pay us for the second.
